Hospital Engagement: Hospital Engagement staff maintain a close, collaborative relationship with hospitals to help define, shape, and guide their roles in the donation process while developing consistency in the mission. Family Services: Family Services requires effective communication and family care skills to support families and partner with hospital staff to preserve the donation opportunity. Aftercare Support: Donor families are important to the donation process. Aftercare is usually an 18-month program that includes honoring loved ones, providing comfort care, grief support/resources, and connecting families with recipients. Join us to identify best practices in all these areas and community education ideas. Referral Optimization: This track is designed to bring together those working in roles including referral optimization, administrator on call, and call center leadership to engage in an All Teach All Learn discussion on driving referral management and response to improve authorization rates and overall organ/tissue conversion.
