On April 10th our Discussion questions were: Donor Management: What steps has your organization taken during the allocation phase to minimize organ non-utilization? Family Authorization: Question #1 - (NRP) Is your organization participating in NRP? If so, to what detail are you discussing NRP with donor families? At what point are you having these discussions? Are you obtaining formal authorization or disclosing? Question #2 - (Donor Recovery Units) Does your organization have a donor recovery unit or hospital-based donation facility? How are you getting families on board with the transfer? How do you navigate family opposition to transfer?
